HUSKY C-9 Pump
|
The HUSKY is the world's first 40,000 psi direct drive triplex pump with full pressure compensation giving you the power you need to reduce your operating costs and increase productivity on a square foot basis. Now you get Flow's proven HUSKY UHP pump with a world class Caterpillar C-9 engine that meets Tier II emission requirements, on board diagnostics and lower fuel consumption.
The 40,000 psi HUSKY is compatible with all other Flow machines, meaning no additional investment in technology is necessary to upgrade.
Specifications
Operating Pressure: 40,000 psi Maximum Flow Rate: 6.5 gpm Approximate Weight: 10,000 lbs Fuel Capacity: 82 gal Engine: Caterpillar C-9 Horsepower: 205 hp continuous duty Speed: 2,100 rpm continuous duty Water Filtration: Two stage filtration down to10 micron absolute Mounting Type: Certified Lifting Skid
Utilities Required on Jobsite:
The pump requires potable water. The cleaner the water the better. Inlet pressure needs to be at least 60psi @10gpm. Compressed air is required for the operation of the jetlances. The jetlance requires 90psi @ 32cfm. The pump will consume about 10gph operating at 2100rpm.
Personnel Requirements:
A typical waterjet project requires three to five workers per pump. One worker should be familiar with how the system works, how to perform routine maintenance, and be proficient in troubleshooting. Each jetlance requires one operator. It is generally preferred to rotate the blasters at least hourly. Some contractors rotate as often as each half hour. The jetlance operators need to be aware of the safety features of the system, safe practices, personal protective equipment, and jetlance maintenance. The pump operator, which is generally the foreman or team leader, must be aware of all safe operating |
